Blessed

For everyone who hasn't been already updated: A week after Skyler was born I got put back into the hospital.I was having 104 temperatures everyday. I ended up going into a coma, was airlifted to the university of Utah hospital, and was put on life support. I had two strokes and two seizures while in the coma. My kidneys were only working at 40%. They also did a procedure where they took out all of my blood and put someone else's blood in me for a total of 10 days because I was going septic. I woke up a month later and was told I have Lupus Disease. I had to go to rehab for a month to relearn how to walk. I was in the hospital from May 5Th until July 8Th. I am so blessed to be alive and have the opportunity to continue to be a mother and wife. On September 10Th we will be sealed in the Timpangoes Temple and we couldn't be more happy and excited. Here are so recent pictures from the last month of being home.

The lupus disease is an autoimmune disorder and it effects organ systems, skin, joints, and internal organs. There is no cure for Lupus and technically there is no medicines. The treatments vary. Currently I am prednizone, blood thinners (which I will be on for the rest of my life), a medicine that treats malaria, cellcap (a cancer medicine), and vitamins. I had to dosages of chemo treatments while in the hospital. When I have a bad lupus flare they will give me chemo treatments.
